Welcome to the Lothian Philatelic Group (LPG) website. The Group’s objectives are to encourage and promote all aspects of philately in the Lothians and surrounding area.
Both the Edinburgh and Scottish Philatelic societies agreed to merge and form the Lothian Philatelic Group in September 2021. This site gives an introduction to LPG, and provides information on some of our activities as well as information about meetings, exchange packets and contact information.
Our members have varied philatelic interests including stamp design and production, cancellations, stamp collecting, postal history, stamp watermarks and security markings.
